Living jewels of the reef

Tridacna clams are among the most stunning inhabitants in a reef tank, with mantles displaying incredible patterns and iridescent colours. They require intense lighting (like SPS corals), stable calcium/alkalinity, and clean water. Giant clams photosynthesize through symbiotic zooxanthellae.
