Snails

A large sand-dwelling snail with distinctive eyes on stalks and a muscular foot. Fighting Conchs are excellent sand bed cleaners, ploughing through substrate and consuming detritus and algae. Despite the name, they are peaceful — the 'fighting' refers to male territorial displays.
