A compact, striking lionfish with feathery pectoral fins and potent venomous dorsal spines — handle with extreme caution. Dwarf lionfish are ambush predators that will consume any fish or shrimp small enough to fit in their large mouths, but they are otherwise peaceful toward larger tankmates. They require live or frozen meaty foods and adapt well to aquarium life.
