Flame Hawkfish

A brilliant red hawkfish with a bold black lattice pattern and distinctive black-tipped dorsal spines. Flame hawkfish are personable and hardy, perching prominently on coral heads and rockwork. They are predatory toward small shrimp and fish but are otherwise reef-safe. A long-lived, rewarding fish for community reefs without small crustaceans.
