A diverse genus of spectacularly colourful wrasses popular with Australian reefers. Fairy wrasses are active, peaceful swimmers that display brilliant colours, especially males during courtship. They require a secure lid as they are notorious jumpers, and a sand bed for sleeping. Most species are reef-safe.
