A colourful, reef-safe wrasse with vivid green and pink patterning and a distinctive black spot on the tail. Melanurus wrasses are valuable pest controllers that eat flatworms, pyramid snails, and small fireworms. They bury in sand at night and require a sand bed of at least 5 cm depth.
