Achilles Surgeonfish

Tangs & Surgeonfish

A stunning tang with a jet-black body and brilliant orange teardrop marking near the tail. Achilles tangs are highly prized but notoriously difficult — they are extremely susceptible to ich, demand pristine water quality, heavy oxygenation, and strong current. Best reserved for experienced reefers with large, mature systems and rigorous quarantine protocols.
