Tangs & Surgeonfish

One of the most iconic marine fish in the hobby, with striking royal blue colouration and a yellow tail. Blue hippo tangs are prone to ich and white spot — robust quarantine is essential before introduction. They are active, open-water swimmers that grow large and require a spacious tank with strong flow.
