Convict Tang

A small, peaceful tang with a silver-white body and six vertical black bars, reminiscent of prison stripes. Convict tangs are one of the few tangs that can be kept in groups, forming attractive schooling displays. They are hardy, effective algae grazers, and their smaller adult size makes them more suitable for medium-sized reef tanks than many other tang species.
